DFW UpFit was built on a passion for emergency vehicles, professional equipment installation, and a commitment to doing things the right way. As a law enforcement officer since 2014, I have spent years relying on properly installed emergency equipment in real-world situations where performance and reliability matter most.

Throughout my career, I have served in multiple specialized assignments, including K9 operations, narcotics interdiction, SWAT, and marine safety enforcement. Those experiences have provided me with firsthand knowledge of what first responders need from their vehicles and the equipment they depend on every day. Over the years, I have personally outfitted my own vehicles and gained extensive experience with emergency lighting systems, sirens, controllers, communications equipment, and vehicle accessories.

DFW UpFit was created to provide customers with a different experience than the traditional high-volume upfitting shop. We intentionally limit our workload and focus on one vehicle at a time. This allows us to maintain the highest level of quality control while ensuring every installation receives the attention it deserves.
